Hair Remover solutions
Hair remover methods include:
Shaving hair remover
Shaving is an effective hair removal method. Millions of men and women all over the world shave their facial hair and body hair. Shaving as a form of hair removal is a kind of depilation as the hair is cut at the surface of the skin, meaning that hair is removed only above the surface of the skin. Contrary to common belief, shaving as a hair remover method, does not make hair grow back faster, slower, darker or thicker. Shaving is a good hair remover method as it is pain free, cheap, and relatively quick. Unfortunately, shaven hair grows back very quickly and may be slightly visible just a few days after shaving. Hair inhibitor lotions can be applied to skin that has just been shaven to slow the re-growth however.
Sugaring hair remover
Sugaring is another hair remover method with a proven track record. Also known as Persian Waxing, sugaring as a form of hair removal has been used for many centuries on many of the continents. Sugar waxing, as it is also known, is simply where a sugar paste made from common household food items is applied to the skin and then ripped off quickly after the solution has affixed itself to the hairs on the body. The process is literally the same as waxing, except the sugar solution is used instead of hot wax. An advantage of sugaring hair remover over waxing hair remover is that sugaring is a water soluble solution and is thus more easily removed than wax.
Threading hair remover
Threading as a hair removal technique is used to give exact, clean lines and shapes to eyebrows. Threading hair remover is the process of using thin twisted cotton that is rolled over the hair precisely by the beautician. As the twisted cotton rolls over the hair, the hair becomes caught up and entwined in the thread and is lifted out from the follicle. The skin may become a little red and sore for a short time (hours) after threading hair remover is performed. As it removes the hair from the follicle, it takes several weeks before it grows back. It is also known as a very precise method of hair removal, and thus is very popular if shaping of the eyebrows is required.
Waxing Hair Remover
Waxing is a very effective and popular hair removal method. Waxing enables large areas of hair to be removed at a time in a relatively quick and only slightly painful manner. However, some areas are more painful to wax than others, and obviously everyone has a different pain threshold. The best thing about waxing is that hair growth is slow after waxing – it may take up to two months for the hair to return. Waxing involves warmed wax spread over the skin in the direction of hair growth. Once applied, a quick pull is all that is required to remove the wax strips and of course, the attached hair. After waxing it may take up to eight weeks for hair to grow back.
Bleaching
Bleaching is not actually a hair removal method, but is often used to make the hair less noticeable – obviously light hair is much less noticeable against the skin than dark, thick hair. Bleaching is performed by applying a chemical on the surface of the skin where the hair is, removing its pigment. Bleaching is an effective method of disguising unwanted body hair, especially if you naturally had thick dark hair. It does not actually remove the hair though, so it is suggested that you opt for a hair removal treatment rather.
